Before the 2024 NBA Draft, everyone predicted that Bronny James would be selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round. They were determined to select him at No. 55 overall, despite the fact that they had already faced backlash for selecting JJ Redick as their new head coach.
The Lakers chose LeBron James’ son with their second-round draft pick this NBA offseason, in spite of all the terrible press the team has been receiving.

Along with many believing that Bronny James might not be ready for the NBA, the rookie guard hasn’t played well during his first few games in a Lakers uniform at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Although the 19-year-old is coming off his best game thus far, finishing with 12 points in a win against the Atlanta Hawks, former NBA general manager Ryan McDonough believes this summer won’t define Bronny James, but he’s got a lot of work to do, via SiriusXM NBA Radio.
