As Marseille looks to restructure their attack in preparation for the upcoming campaign, they have their sights set on Eddie Nketiah of Arsenal.
Marseille is very close to signing Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood, as Mail Sport revealed last week.
United and Marseille have reached an agreement on a starting price of £27 million, £3.2 million in add-ons, and a sizeable sell-on clause.
Nketiah, who started just ten Premier League games for Arsenal in the previous campaign, may join Greenwood in Marseille.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the team’s top scorer from the previous campaign, due to leave this summer, Marseille would prefer for Nketiah and Greenwood to play together in a new-look forward line.
