Nicolas Hamilton, Lewis Hamilton’s brother and British Touring Car Championship driver, publicly regretted missing out on a special day in his brother’s career in a moving demonstration of affection between siblings. While Nicolas has always been a supporter of Lewis throughout his career, his absence during the 2020 Portuguese Grand Prix caused Nicolas Hamilton to think.

The 2020 Portuguese c Prix was a watershed point in Hamilton’s career, as he won his 92nd career race, beating Michael Schumacher’s record. The race, on the other hand, was not a breeze for Lewis Hamilton. As he battled back to the lead, he encountered a few obstacles, including a cramp in his right calf muscle. After regaining the lead on lap 20, he sprinted to the finish line comfortably, finishing 25.6 seconds ahead of his Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas. A few races later, Hamilton won his seventh world title.

Nicolas came to Instagram to express his sentiments and regret for being unable to attend this significant occasion. The public apology, combined with genuine congratulations, demonstrated the Hamilton brothers’ deep relationship and emotional support.
