The Eagles shot themselves in both feet in December, finishing 1-4 to fall from a 10-1 record and the top seed in the NFC to an 11-5 squad that will almost certainly start the playoffs on the road. Last week, they were defeated 35-31 at the Linc by a three-win Cardinals club coached by former Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon. They’ll try to put things right in Week 18 against their favorite patsy, the Giants, in New Jersey. Our Philadelphia Eagles odds tracker will keep you up to date on the latest Eagles betting lines, futures, and Super Bowl chances throughout the season.

The Eagles and Cowboys were pitted against each other in the late window, ostensibly to prevent either side from resting players. The Eagles’ decline has opened the door for the Cowboys, who, despite losing two of their previous three games, to win the NFC East and claim the No. 2 seed in the conference with a win over the Commanders. Dallas is a 13-point underdog.

But if Dallas falters – and Dallas-Washington was once one of the league’s great rivalries – the Eagles can win the division and reclaim second place in the NFC with a win. More than likely, they will begin the playoffs on the road against the winner of the NFC South.

This season, the Eagles hope to return to the Super Bowl, albeit with a different outcome. They were the favorites following Week 12 at most Super Bowl betting sites, but have since dropped four of five games.
