Tevita Pangai Jr, a retired NRL great, was photographed at Brisbane Broncos training, fueling talk that he is considering a return to rugby league.

Pangai Jr startled the NRL in August when he walked out on his contract with the Bulldogs to pursue a boxing career

He reportedly walked away from a $750,000-per-season agreement.

He was photographed on Wednesday when Kevin Walters’ side practiced at their Red Hill base.

According to the Courier Mail, Pangai Jr. refused to be interviewed, claiming that he was only there to meet family and friends to Broncos players.

The 27-year-old was released by the Broncos after appearing in 96 games for them. During a brief stay with the Panthers before joining the Bulldogs in 2022, he won a premiership.
