Tyreek Hill has been evicted from his opulent property after a fire started by a four-year-old child caused millions of dollars in damage.

On January 3, firefighters were sent to Hill’s Southwest Ranches home in Florida to put out a fire that had been upgraded to a two-alarm fire.

Before 14:00, smoke was spotted billowing from the upper story as firemen worked to put out the 45-minute-long fire. It was allegedly sparked by a child playing with a lighter who accidently set fire to a toy, scaring them and driving them to chuck the toy.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident. However, the inferno ripped through the property’s upstairs, causing $2.3 million in damage, according to TMZ, which referenced an incident report for the information.

After joining the Dolphins from the Kansas City Chiefs, the wide receiver, 29, purchased the home for $6.9 million in 2022.Hill was not at home when the fire occurred and had just returned from the Dolphins’ practice when he was called.

Hill stated to his teammates that he feared his house had been destroyed. On the most recent episode of Hard Knocks, he was heard saying, “It’s done. The house is finished, bro. Smoke and fire damage. The entire upstairs has burned down. But it’s all right.”
