More than half of all NFL clubs are looking forward to the NFL Draft as the playoffs continue. Almost a quarter of all teams are also seeking for new head coaches. With so many unknowns heading into the draft season, predicting which clubs will select which players is nearly difficult. But we can try.

J.J. McCarthy is one of four quarterbacks projected to be first-round choices in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Although trades and free agency signings are still possible with months until the draft, the top clubs are all but set. Predicting where they will land is a very other matter. According to USA Today’s 2024 NFL mock draft, talents like Marvin Harrison Jr., Brock Bowers, and Malik Nabers may go in this order.

Chargers vs. Jets: 4 takeaways from Los Angeles' win

Whatever the Chicago Bears decide with the first overall choice, Marvin Harrison Jr. of Ohio State has long been predicted as the top non-quarterback in the 2024 NFL draft class. He’s the finest wide receiver prospect we’ve seen since Ja’Marr Chase, perhaps longer, and the Arizona Cardinals will very certainly be the beneficiaries.

With quarterbacks Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Jayden Daniels all anticipated to go first-round, the Cardinals might have Harrison fall into their laps without doing anything.

Harrison would be an excellent addition to any club, but he would be especially beneficial to the Arizona Cardinals, who haven’t seen the breakthrough from Marquise Brown that they had hoped for over the previous two seasons. Arizona’s leading pass-catcher in their first season without DeAndre Hopkins was tight end Trey McBride. The Cardinals would love to add Harrison to their wide receiver corps, which is lacking a reliable outside threat.
