Julian Lewis, the No. 1 talent in the country, has reclassified for the 2025 college football recruiting class.

While the 2024 college football recruiting classes have not yet concluded, some major news regarding the 2025 recruiting season was released today. Julian Lewis, the top overall athlete and quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class, has revealed that he has reclassified for the 2025 class. Lewis is presently committed to the USC Trojans.

Lewis has long been seen as a high-profile prospect, and his addition to the 2018 recruiting class will undoubtedly alter that perception. With him now committed to Lincoln Riley and the Trojans, the opportunity for clubs like Georgia to continue to press for a trade closes before he registers with a team.

As a true freshman, the Carrolton High School quarterback made his presence felt on the high school stage by leading his team to a state championship game appearance. The composite five-star, who will start his last high school season in 2024, is currently possibly the most well-known and sought-after prospect in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

The Bulldogs now have six commitments for their 2018 recruiting class, but have yet to secure a quarterback. Georgia signed only one player for the 2024 class, Ryan Puglisi, and with Carson Beck entering what appears to be his final season next year, one would expect the Bulldogs to want to add a guy like Lewis to the team a year from now.
