Glenn Thomas, a former assistant coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers, officially joined Nebraska on Wednesday. Thomas will work as a co-offensive coordinator alongside Marcus Satterfield and coach the quarterback position.

With 10 seasons spent as a coordinator, Thomas has 15 years of total experience coaching at the collegiate level. Having served on NFL teams for eight complete seasons, he had a significant impact on the growth of NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Matt Ryan.

Thomas will be in charge of a Husker quarterback room that in January welcomed Daniel Kaelin and Dylan Raiola, two players selected in the Elite 11.
