Jets interview former Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis

This is what reporter Tom Pelissero of NFL Network claims.

Lewis’s position on the staff is yet unknown. Whether in the capacity of an advisor or an assistant. Lewis was a defensive coordinator with a great deal of expertise, with a focus on linebackers.

From 2003 to the conclusion of the 2018 campaign, Lewis served as the Bengals’ head coach. No matter how his career concluded, he was the one who transformed the Bengals’ entire culture. He brought the staff up to speed with various old procedures that he modified.

After Lewis left Cincinnati, he became a member of Herm Edwards’ coaching staff at Arizona State. In the end, Lewis received a promotion to co-defensive coordinator.

In Cincinnati, the Bengals will welcome the Raiders to town in 2024. Lewis would be returning to the opposing sideline of what he has always known as Paul Brown Stadium for the first time. He ought to be welcomed with great affection.
