With one more game to go, the Baltimore Ravens will have to overcome Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Baltimore ended the Houston Texans’ fairytale with a 34-10 victory, and then Buffalo Bills fans watched as Mahomes and the Chiefs once more crushed their hearts with a 27-24 victory. The head coach of the Ravens says his team is prepared to take on the Kansas City powerhouse as Mahomes and the Chiefs prepare to visit M&T Bank Stadium.

According to Harbaugh, “We’re looking forward to it and we’re excited about it.” “Playing a fantastic football squad with a lot of talent and excellent coaching is a major task. They’ve been in these circumstances numerous times, so they know how to prevail. They’ve made it to the title game previously; I believe they may have done so six times in a row. We’ve never worked with this team or these guys before, so it will be a significant task for us, but we’re eager and up for the job. Lamar Jackson and the Chiefs’ offence have been scoring points for pleasure, so the Ravens have little cause to be afraid of them. Meanwhile, Mike Macdonald’s defence suffocates opponents into submission—they haven’t allowed more than 20 points since Week 1.

Jackson did what he wanted in the air (16/22, 152 yards, 2 touchdowns) and on the run (11 att, 100 yards, 2 touchdowns), as Baltimore’s offence put 34 points on the Texans’ defence. Although the Ravens offence has been clicking, tight end Mark Andrews’ expected return to the lineup could provide a much-needed lift. Nevertheless, Harbaugh remained reticent to state that his tight end was prepared to play.

“Let’s observe his progress,” said Harbaugh. “We’re excited about it. He practiced last week, and I have no doubt that he will practice this week as well. If he’s ready to play, he will play.”

Everything is there for the taking, and the Ravens have a fantastic opportunity to build on their fantastic season. Though he did well against the Texans, Jackson’s postseason record has received a lot of attention. However, eliminating Mahomes would greatly enhance his record.

Lamar and his squad will be locked in and prepared to secure their Super Bowl berth since he has all the tools necessary to accomplish it at home.
