Beasly would be aware. The undrafted wide receiver was signed by the Cowboys prior to the 2012 campaign and spent seven years playing 103 games (22 starts) with 3,271 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns while with Dallas. As a free agent in 2019, Beasley joined the Bills.

He made his one and only professional appearance against the Cowboys during that season. Beasley was targeted seven times and finished with six receptions for 110 yards, a career-high average of 18.33 yards per reception, and a score.

Barkley responded to the post made by his old teammate, but he refused to accept the bait.

Barkley responded, giving a fist and two laughing emojis, “Miss my dawg.

Barkley told reporters that he hopes the Giants make a decision about his future as soon as possible and that he is not looking forward to contract talks again this offseason. This relates to the contract disagreement that lasted months between Barkley and the Giants during the 2023 offseason.

To prevent a holdout, the parties reached an agreement in July on a one-year, $10.1 million contract that was fully guaranteed and included a $2 million upfront signing bonus.

Barkley, who was selected by the Giants with the second overall pick in 2018, was put off by the entire process because of this.

According to Pat Leonard of The New York Daily News, Barkley remarked, “I feel like, I went through the whole process last year.” To be honest, we spoke far too much last year. I’ll let my agents manage the entire negotiation process, not just the conversation with Joe (Schoen).

New coordinators likely to be hired by all three division foes

The erratic breezes at MetLife Stadium won’t require a lesson for the Giants’ new special teams coordinator.

Michael Ghobrial, who worked as an assistant for the Jets for the last three seasons, has been appointed as the next coordinator for the Giants.

Before joining the Jets, Ghobrial, who turns 36 on February 9, spent five seasons as a collegiate special teams coordinator. Thomas McGaughey, the Giants’ coordinator for six seasons, was fired on January 8 and is replaced by him.

As the Jets produced one of the top special teams squads in the NFL, Ghobrial oversaw coordinator Brant Boyer and fellow assistant Leon Washington.

The Jets’ kickoff coverage in 2023 was the best in the league, surrendering an average of just 15.3 yards per

Special teams captain Justin Hardee was named to his first Pro Bowl the previous season after recording a career-high 14 tackles. He was the sole core member of the Jets special team and only the sixth member chosen for the Pro Bowl since 1970. During Ghobrial’s tenure, two out of the six were selected. Zuerlein became one of four Jets to convert multiple – goals of 55+ yards during his tenure, and he kicked three of the four biggest field goals in the team’s history.

The Jets were the only team in the NFL to be in the top five for both punt return average and kickoff return average in 2021. Braxton Berrios, a wide receiver and return specialist who led the NFL in kickoff returns, was chosen as an All-Pro.

Executive Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman and Head Coach Nick Sirianni met with the media on Wednesday at the NovaCare Complex for the first time since the 2023 season ended and the team returned to Philadelphia following the playoff loss to Tampa Bay. They talked about how the ’23 campaign ended, changes within the coaching staff, and what lies ahead for this football team as it looks ahead to the 2024 season.

What are the lessons learned? There are several, but the main one is that Sirianni acknowledged the desire to have a “fresh” approach to an offence that he claimed occasionally became “stale” this past year, while Roseman repeatedly expressed his faith in the young, developing players on the existing squad.

We evaluated our season at the end of the year. Obviously are going to be in constant evaluation of this. We did what we thought was best at the time, and I can’t say enough good things about Brian, though,” Sirianni said. “He’s a great football coach, and he’s going to have another opportunity to lead an offense, and I will miss him. Some of the things that we want to do as a team is grow in a lot of different areas and grow in some of the guys that have been in here with me, that have been there with me for a while. So it’s about coming up with fresh ideas and doing some things different
