Packers' Matt LeFleur gets testy with reporter over 'BS' question after brutal loss: 'We got our a– kicked' | Fox NewsAfter all, there will be a Pro Bowl player for the Green Bay Packers! Javon Hargrave, a defensive tackle with the San Francisco 49ers, has chosen not to participate in the celebrations now that they have advanced to the Super Bowl. The NFL has selected Kenny Clark for his third career Pro Bowl in his place.

More NFL players were given the distinction of being named to the Pro Bowl this coming weekend as a result of many players withdrawing from the competition. The NFC squad needed extra quarterbacks on their roster, as Dak Prescott and Brock Purdy chose not to play for them. Since Matthew Stafford also backed out of the event, the three NFC quarterbacks who had been selected earlier had to be replaced.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love had one of the best individual seasons of any quarterback in the NFC, but he was left off the roster. Rather, quarterback Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks’ Geno Smith, and Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts were selected by the NFL.

To be perfectly honest, the Pro Bowl has lost most of its cachet due to its watering down and annual selection of so many players. Despite this, players still benefit from it in terms of recognition and contract negotiations.

Nevertheless, it’s perplexing that Love wasn’t included this season in favor of three quarterbacks who were clearly better than him. Fans of the Packers took to social media immediately to express their emotions:
