The only realistic way for a team to win consistently in the NFL is to have a true franchise quarterback. Additionally, that franchise needs to win a Super Bowl.

The Cowboys from Dallas are who we believe them to be. The squad may have a great regular season record, but their performance in the postseason is consistently dismal. And the NFL Season of 2023 was the same as well. The Green Bay Packers, the NFL’s youngest playoff squad ever, invaded Dallas and completely destroyed the Cowboys.
As the team enters yet another pivotal summer, there are more questions than answers, and there is a great deal of uncertainty surrounding both Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott. This summer, Prescott is probably going to receive an extension, but is it the right decision? McCarthy is also about to hit the final year of his contract. With McCarthy and Prescott, the Cowboys have obviously reached their limit.
Jerry Jones invites JJ McCarthy to Dallas in a daring move. McCarthy is quite young, which may work to Dallas’ favor as he recently turned 21. Prescott and the Cowboys may have one more chance together if McCarthy needs a year to mature. Dak Prescott is a statistically good quarterback, but it’s clear that he hasn’t had much success in the playoffs.
Furthermore, I don’t think anyone genuinely thinks that this club, led by Prescott, can win a Super Bowl. It may come as a surprise to draft a possible replacement in the first round, but it is necessary. I do believe that there is no rush to start JJ McCarthy right away after his draft. That might work to your advantage.
