The Cowboys are looking at more candidates for defensive coordinator.

Todd Archer of ESPN says that Marquand Manuel, the safety coach for the Jets, will be interviewed on Thursday.

Dan Quinn left the Cowboys to take a head coaching position with the Commanders, therefore the team is interviewing potential replacements. On Monday, they spoke with current Cowboys defensive line coach Aden Durde, who coached the Commanders in the past, and on Tuesday, they spoke with former Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer.

Rex Ryan, the former head coach of the Jets, has also interviewed for the position.

Manuel played under current Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy in 2006, and he served as the Falcons’ defensive coordinator from 2017 to 2018. Throughout his career, he has served as an assistant coach with the Jets, Seahawks, Falcons, and Eagles.
