Ravens' Lamar Jackson Shares 'Letter to My Fans,' Requests Trade
In reference to the turbulent contract negotiations that saw him ask for a trade in March before agreeing to an extension ahead of the season, Jackson joked as he accepted the trophy, “I want to thank my organization, the Baltimore Ravens, for finally getting a deal done.”

“My offensive line, my man on the attack. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done. I’m not out there doing everything—blocking, catching the ball, etc. For these accolades, it’s my team, a team effort, and I want to thank my family back home.
During the regular season, Jackson was the quarterback leader in touchdown passes among all quarterbacks, guiding the NFL’s highest scoring offense to a 13-4 record and the top seed in the AFC playoffs. He also set the football world on fire. Ultimately, Baltimore was defeated in the AFC championship game by the Kansas City Chiefs.

The signal-caller for the Ravens concluded the regular season with 29 touchdowns and 821 rushing yards, setting career highs in both completion percentage (67.2%) and passing yards (3,678).
