Memphis has taken advantage of this disappointing season to see players they otherwise would not have had place for. For Memphis, this is one of the few bright spots in an otherwise disastrous season. A number of players who may be able to stay on the team beyond this season have been given the chance to be evaluated by the Grizzlies because to injuries.
For Goodwin, these ten days are a chance to demonstrate his abilities. This season, Goodwin averaged 14 minutes per game while playing off the bench for the Suns in 40 games. During that time, he scored five points per game.

Goodwin, a 6’3″ guard, might get some backcourt time while Memphis waits for a few rotation guards to return. Goodwin gets a chance to demonstrate his NBA skills to another team for the next ten days, but it remains to be seen if he stays in Memphis beyond that.
