Emiliano Buendia would 'accept' Arsenal transfer as talks are restarted - Daily StarAfter four wins in their first six games, Norwich City’s season took a turn for the worst.
Recently brought into the team, Borja Sainz has impressed and is beginning to resemble Norwich legend Emi Buendia.
Sainz’s play will be crucial for the remainder of the season, and Norwich might pose a threat to other Championship teams if they have the correct group of players.

They were among the league’s better teams at the beginning of the season, winning four of their first six games and establishing themselves as a formidable force.

The Canaries then saw a sharp decline in performance, leading many to advocate for the firing of manager David Wagner following a stretch of nine games with just one victory. Wagner, though, was able to change that, as Norwich has now lost only one of their previous six games. With their current play, Norwich is now competitive for the playoffs, Borja Sainz is one player that has been on the rise lately.

After Giresunspor was demoted from the Turkish top flight the previous season, Sainz moved to England.
The 22-year-old signed a three-year contract after joining on a free transfer.

Although Wagner and Norwich knew Sainz would need to adjust to the physical demands of the Championship and English football, he has taken his time. “When I spoke with him, you could really feel his desire to come in and make an impact,” he stated after signing. He is the precise type of guy we want in our group—he is eager to show himself.

That was just done by Sainz. His first game was in an EFL Cup loss to Fulham, which ended in a 2-1 loss. He didn’t play until late September.

After that, Sainz had an injury during a U21 match in October that kept him out of commission for many weeks. He mainly played off the bench after that to get a feel for English game and improve his match fitness.

During the busy Christmas season, when teams usually have to test the depth of their squads with so many games in a short period of time, Sainz started to obtain regular starts.

On his first start, he immediately showed his talent, scoring and dishing out an assist in a 3-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday.
