West Bromwich Albion, a Championship team, has reportedly made a sizable contract offer to Torino coach Ivan Juric, according to sources from Tuttosport on Monday morning.

The Torino manager signed a three-year contract when he joined from Hellas Verona in 2021, although his contract will expire at the end of the 2023–24 campaign.

Juric unexpectedly said last week at a press conference that he would not be extending his contract in Turin if he was not guaranteed European football for the upcoming campaign.

Throughout the last two Serie A seasons, Juric has led Torino to two 10th place finishes.

Unexpectedly, Tuttosport claims that Juric has received an alluring contract offer from West Brom for €2 million in salary annually.

According to rumors in the UK, American businessman Shilen Patel is going to acquire West Brom in a deal around €70 million (£60 million).

With 49 points from 30 games, the Baggies are currently in fifth place in the Championship play-off rankings. However, they are currently 15 points behind Southampton in the other automatic promotion berth and 26 points behind league leaders Leicester City, led by Enzo Maresca.

According to Tuttosport, Juric has previously been in contact with an English team when Nottingham Forest was considering using him to replace Steve Cooper.

The board apparently has three candidates in mind to replace Juric should he decide to leave Torino in the upcoming weeks: Gennaro Gattuso of Marseille, Paolo Vanoli of Venezia in Serie B, or Monza coach Raffaele Palladino.
