LeBron James, the standout player for the Los Angeles Lakers, was reportedly targeted by the Golden State Warriors during the NBA trade deadline, but such attempts were unsuccessful. James’s agent Rich Paul corroborated the allegation from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne, stating that the Warriors “made an unsuccessful bid” to persuade the Lakers to trade the 39-year-old before the deadline, in an interview with Stephen A. Smith on Wednesday. Paul was very explicit in saying that his client had no interest in making such a move and is dedicated to the Lakers.
