Current Nottingham Forest news and rumours as manager Nuno Espirito Santo gets ready for the Premier League match against West Ham, including updates on injuries to Chris Wood and Gonzalo Montiel.

In anticipation of their Premier League comeback this Saturday against West Ham, Nottingham Forest is hard at work getting ready.

Both clubs need the three points up for grabs as the Reds and Hammers play at the City Ground. The previous match saw Forest lose 3-2 to Newcastle United, while West Ham suffered a 6-0 home loss against Arsenal.

Nottingham Forest is working hard to prepare for their Premier League comeback against West Ham this Saturday.

When the Reds and Hammers play at the City Ground, both teams need to win the three points that are on the line. In the previous game, West Ham lost 6-0 at home to Arsenal while Forest lost 3-2 to Newcastle United.

Gonzalo Montiel, the pdater, is also out due to a hamstring issue. Although a precise return date for the World Cup winner is unknown, he will most certainly not play against West Ham.

When questioned about Montiel by reporters on Thursday, Nuno responded, “He is not going to be available.” “Let’s wait and see; he is receiving treatment. I have no idea how long he will be absent.

The team remains largely unchanged. We face numerous problems.

Nuno also declared that Ibrahim Sangare, Willy Boly, and Ola Aina would not be able to play against West Ham. After representing their respective nations at the Africa Cup of Nations, the three have only lately returned to the UK.

In the championship match, Nigeria fell 2-1 against Ivory Coast, despite Aina starting for his nation. Boly was left off of the matchday roster, although Sangare came on as a substitute for Ivory Coast during the game.

Nuno stated that none of the three would be eligible to play West Ham even if they had returned to Nottingham. Consequently, it is more possible that Aino, Boly, and Sangare will play against Aston Villa the following week.

“They won’t be accessible for this particular game. They won’t be available for this game, but they will come back to us and re-join the group, Nuno stated on Thursday.
