RJ Davis and Armando Bacot’s offensive repertoires are still being optimized by UNC basketball,In February, the UNC basketball offense hasn’t been boring at all. The No. 10 Tar Heels (20-6, 11-3 ACC), who have lost their last three games but are still atop the conference standings, have averaged 83.8 points over their last five games, never going below 75 points and twice surpassing 90.
They just finished scoring 96 points in a 15-point victory at home over Virginia Tech (15-11, 7-8 ACC), which is rated lower.
But as UNC enters the homestretch of the regular season and with a full week to prepare for Virginia’s vaunted pack-line defense, third-year Tar Heel head coach Hubert Davis explained to the ACC media on Monday that he plans to heighten his experimentation with new actions in practice.
