The Brazilian appeared ready to move on after just a year of donning claret and blue, as Manchester City was rumored to be lining up a bid. Luckily for the Hammers, Paqueta got entangled in a betting scandal involving some dubious activity on betway accounts, thus this never came to pass.
He has reportedly cooperated greatly with the FA, even turning in his phone to them. However, it should come as no surprise that the player has grown quite impatient with the length of the probe and is now thinking of taking legal action after a decision has been made, via Football Insider.
If all goes according to plan, Manchester City will not be the only team vying for his services in the summer.
