Although it appears that Russell Wilson’s time with the Denver Broncos is coming to an end, the nine-time Pro Bowler is still active in the NFL. All indications are that this combination will eventually part ways during the winter, but it appears that other teams are closely monitoring the issue.
On SportsCenter, ESPN’s NFL insider Jeremy Fowler talked about Wilson’s prospects in the league. “I’ve talked to several teams who still believe he’s a full-time starter,” he stated. “There’s a job for him somewhere.”
A sizable portion of the NFL will be looking to get a new quarterback. The Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Las Vegas Raiders are a few teams that stand out as potential suitors for a new player at the position. Don’t be shocked if one of them looks into adding Wilson to the roster if he becomes a free agent as anticipated.
