Wilson is rumored to be on the verge of being released in the upcoming weeks, but his next football destination remains a mystery. With a strong running game and a strong defense, the Steelers are known for trying to challenge incumbent starting quarterback Kenny Pickett. For the 36-year-old (in November), whose finest playing days are behind him, this would be a soft landing spot. Wilson, though, still possesses enough arm strength to be an improvement over Pickett and help coach Mike Tomlin stabilize the floor of a team that consistently makes the playoffs.
