Two of Leicester City’s most important players will be available for Friday night’s Championship title match against Leeds United.

With 13 games remaining, a victory by Leeds might put a stop to Daniel Farke’s title chances, as the Foxes lead Leeds by nine points. However, a win for the hosts would start the contest for the title.

The primary objective is to be promoted back to the Premier League. The third-place Southampton team, who will move back into second place with a victory over Hull City on Monday night, would gain more ground if they were to lose to Leicester. Prior to the trip to Elland Road, Leicester manager Enzo Maresca had a double selection boost over the weekend.

Kelechi Iheanacho, who is scheduled to play his first Leicester game since Nigeria came second in the Africa Cup of Nations final nine days ago, has strengthened the assault force in the meantime.

The league leaders may still have a couple of names absent, though. Wilfred Ndidi is out with a long-term muscle injury while defender Ben Nelson is a doubt after picking up an issue a fortnight ago.
