After an agreement was reached, Laryea, who had 18 months remaining on his Forest contract, will now return to Canada.

According to NationalWorld, Richie Laryea, a permanent move from Nottingham Forest, is expected to be finalized by Toronto FC.

After the MLS giants and Premier League team Forest reached an agreement for a $750,000 fee with bonuses, the Canada international defender will rejoin his old team.

Laryea was interested in joining Red Star Belgrade, a formidable team in Serbia, but the 29-year-old declined the offer in favor of agreeing to a four-year deal with Toronto.

When Djed Spence emerged at right defender for Forest during their Premier League promotion-winning season, Laryea joined the team, although his playing time was restricted.

Before joining the Vancouver Whitecaps, where he made seven appearances, he was on loan at Toronto FC for the second half of 2022 and the early part of 2023.

Michael Carrick, the manager of Middlesbrough, has been talking about Lewis O’Brien and he has been very impressed with the midfield player who plays for Nottingham Forest.

Since the beginning of the season, O’Brien has been on loan from Premier League team Forest to Championship team Middlesbrough.

This season, the midfield player has appeared in the Carabao Cup with one start and one substitute appearance in addition to six starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship.

O’Brien has struggled with injuries this season, but Carrick has stated that he never intended to send him back to Forest in January.
