QB Lamar Jackson won his second league MVP award last season, capping the Baltimore Ravens’ incredible offensive success. However, with some of that offense probably leaving in free agency, Eric DeCosta, the general manager, may decide to address some of those gaps in April’s NFL Draft.

Which hole will he fill with the No. 30 overall choice first, is the question. Sports essentially has two options: one for offensive tackle and one for wide receiver. “LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is an excellent option; his remarkable 2023 stats include 68 receptions, 1177 yards, and 17 touchdowns. Devin Duvernay and OBJ may be considering free agency, so Thomas Jr. looks like a strong option to bolster the explosiveness of the Ravens’ receiving group.”

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Says He's on the 'Road to Recovery'

Odell Beckham Jr. and Devin Duvernay are probably going to be traded, but the Ravens have already re-signed Nelson Agholor for the upcoming campaign. As Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely share time at tight end, look for second-year standout Zay Flowers to step in as the starting WR1. The team will want to add a potential wide receiver to complement Jackson, as Rashod Bateman’s contract expires in 2025. Georgia provides another offensive tackle option to ES.

OT Amarius Mims of Georgia is another intriguing selection for the Ravens. Even though Mims had injury problems in the 2023 season, he still has untapped talent and promise. His selection by the Ravens at the thirty-first pick would be consistent with their recent pattern of obtaining players of the highest caliber. “Mims has demonstrated top-10 potential when healthy, and his addition to the Ravens’ O-line could fortify their protection and contribute to their offensive success in the upcoming season.”
