One of the main narratives going into the 2024 NFL offseason was Justin Fields. The quarterback for the Chicago Bears is still under contract, particularly now that his team has the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Although Fields is thought to be a fit for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons, other teams may make a bid for his services.

Daniel Jeremiah, an NFL expert, recently identified one AFC East team that could be able to entice Fields to leave Soldier Field.

“I’m aware that a lot of people have been discussing Pittsburgh; it seems to suit there. sending him back to his childhood home of Atlanta. When asking about why the Patriots might draft out of the No. 3 spot, Jeremiah said to Rich Eisen, “I don’t feel like we’re talking much about New England [Patriots].”

According to the analyst, Fields finds the circumstances in New England to be highly alluring. After parting ways with Bill Belichick, they have a new head coach, and Fields appears to be the finest choice to usher in Jerod Mayo’s era in Foxborough.

According to Jeremiah, the Patriots can provide Fields the support he needs to be successful at Gillette Stadium by selecting him with the third overall pick.

Though it hasn’t received as much attention as Fields joining Pittsburgh or Atlanta, the Patriots seem like a decent fit for Fields given their newfound prominence and personnel.

It makes perfect sense for the Bears to part ways with Fields and concentrate on the USC star, as Caleb Williams is the overwhelming favorite to be the first overall choice in the forthcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

Nothing is official yet, though, and the Bears may decide to keep developing the Ohio State player while trading away the No. 1 pick.
