The Braves are looking to defend their NL East crown heading into the 2024 season. If Michael Harris II hits his stolen base goal, the Braves are much more dynamic lineup.
Following the MLB’s alteration of the bases’ dimensions, Ronald Acuna Jr. emerged as the league’s top bagger with 73 stolen. Entering his third season with the Braves, Harris hopes to use Foul Territory to increase his own stolen base totals and follow in Acuna’s footsteps. Harris estimated how many steals he would make in 2024 at least 35.
Harris has stolen precisely 20 bases in each of his first two major league seasons. Even though 15 more would be about a full year’s worth of output, the outfielder is sure he can reach the goal. Observing Acuna’s 2023 running feat was undoubtedly inspiring.
In addition to his stolen bases, Harris has shown himself to be a valuable MLB player. He’s hit in 252 games overall.295 with 37 houses
Atlanta has surely been pleased with Harris’ work over his first two years. But some extra stolen bases gives the Braves another weapon on the basepaths and more runners in scoring position.
