Star player Khris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks believes there’s a chance he can play again on this current four-game road trip.

This comes after Milwaukee’s depressing blowout defeat to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night marked the three-time All-Star’s 12th straight game missed.

Before returning home to Milwaukee, the Bucks have three more road games scheduled. Their first one is a Friday night game against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. That one will not see Middleton’s eagerly anticipated comeback to action.

Although there was some hope regarding Middleton’s status, it is not shocking that the Bucks have already declared him ineligible for Friday’s game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo says he's not physically ready to play in the World Cup

But it appears that he isn’t as close to returning as we may all have been lead to believe because the team is still listing him as out more than 24 hours before every game.

The Bucks play the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday and the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday following their game in Los Angeles on Friday. It appears unlikely that Middleton will be available for either of those games right now.
