Loïc Mbe Soh who joined the Reds in 2020 after leaving the French team, recalled that decision and the factors that forced it upon him.

Mbe Soh says that considering how young he was, leaving PSG for Nottingham Forest was a rather dangerous decision.

“I spent seven years there, playing and growing up. Given that Paris offered me everything, it was inevitable to feel like a heartbreak. I will always cherish the amazing experience I got because of the club, but it was time for me to move on to something new.

“I had to step outside of my comfort zone and build a name for myself. Therefore, I made the well-considered decision to go to England, which was a risky venture away from home, Mbe Soh said to PSG’s official channels.

Mbe Soh was loaned by Nottingham Forest to Almere City in the Netherlands during the summer. The player has since expressed his happiness at the club, citing his playing time as a major factor.
“I’m on loan from English team Nottingham Forest to play for Almere City FC in the Dutch D1 league this season. In all contests, I’ve participated in about twenty games. I’m glad I came since I wanted to play some games.

“I’m attempting to establish myself in the workforce. I’ve had to deal with a few injuries, so it hasn’t always been simple for me. What doesn’t destroy you makes you more resilient! I have the mental fortitude to keep getting back up because of Paris. I’ve always had lofty goals, but that’s never

In 2020, Nottingham Forest paid €5 million to acquire Mbe Soh from PSG. During his three years at the City Ground, he only made thirteen appearances for the Reds officially since he was still working his way up to the first squad.

The Premier League team determined in January 2023 that he ought to obtain additional experience elsewhere.

Following his loan to the French team Guingamp, he was promptly transferred to Almere City, where he will remain till the end of the current campaign, upon his return from his spell last summer.
