For the best running back available in free agency, the Baltimore Ravens have made an offer.
The Baltimore Ravens reportedly made Derrick Henry an offer. There is still no agreement.
According to a source, there is mutual interest between the #Ravens and RB Derrick Henry.

However, a consensus still needs to be established. Let’s see.

Derrick Henry would give the Ravens something they haven’t had since Jamal Lewis or Ray Rice: a superior rock-carrying running back. Indeed, Derrick Henry’s career has not reached its pinnacle. He’s thirty years old and about to start his ninth season. Henry presents a credible danger in comparison to Lamar Jackson.

For the last six seasons, the Baltimore Ravens have been among the NFL’s top rushing teams. Since 2018, they have been among the top five in terms of run attempts, yards per game, and rushing yards. Strangely enough, Lamar Jackson assumed the starting quarterback position at that point.

Henry would surely add to that forward-moving assault. Throughout his NFL career, he has averaged more than four yards per carry. Derrick ran for over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns on 280 runs during the previous campaign.

The Ravens seem to be asking between six and seven million dollars for Henry Henry’s offer.

Henry’s estimated market value for a one-year contract is $10.3 million, according to Spotrac.com. Given Baltimore’s existing cap space, this could provide a challenge.
