With a tremendous victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, Domantas Sabonis broke one franchise record and Malik Monk broke another. The Kings were able to recover from a disappointing loss. A sellout crowd of 17,832 witnessed Sabonis score 22 points, grab 11 rebounds, and dish out eight assists as he led the Kings to a 129-94 victory at Golden 1 Center. In the 1967–68 season, Sabonis broke Jerry Lucas’ single-season franchise record of 46 double-doubles by recording his 47th consecutive double-double. “Domas is an exceptional player,” stated Kings head coach Mike Brown. “He’s unique.”
After losing to the Houston Rockets 112-104 on Sunday, the Kings (37-27) responded with a powerful game led by De’Aaron Fox, who finished with 29 points, six rebounds, and seven assists. Sacramento held onto its position as the Western Conference’s seventh-place team. The Kings are in sixth place, half a game behind the Phoenix Suns, and in eighth place, half a game ahead of the Dallas Mavericks.
The Kings had lost 15 in a row to the Bucks dating back to the 2015-16 season. They will try to build on one of their best wins of the season when they face the Los Angeles Lakers on the second night of a back-to-back Wednesday.

Monk overtook Bobby Jackson (629) in the record for the most assists by a reserve in team history with his first assist of the evening. He is deadly in the pick-and-roll game because, as Brown put it, “he is a really, really good passer.” “You have to respect the fact that he can shoot the three first and foremost. He is capable of winning the medium game. He is able to finish near the rim. We know what he can do, therefore we probably give the ball to him more than any other team he has played for. He has a ton more records to shatter throughout his career. He has only just begun.
