Since his return to Glasgow, Brendan Rodgers has suffered greatly from fitness-related setbacks, as seen by the troubles faced at various points by players including Reo Hatate, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Callum McGregor, Luis Palma, Stephen Welsh, and Maik Nawrocki.

Such an achievement would be considerable, and it is certainly within the realm of possibility given the manager is beginning to get a fully fit and firing squad for the first time this campaign.

Carter-Vickers returned to the team over the weekend, and the remaining noteworthy absentees, Liam Scales, McGregor, Hatate, Yang, and Palma, should all be available for the match against Livingston in less than two weeks.

The manager is excited about the possibility of having a strong team with all of these players back: “Hopefully, by the time we return from this break, we will be in a really strong position,” stated Rodgers (STV).

“I can’t wait to watch that team and how it plays in the latter stages of the season.

“Scalesy, Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, and a few other guys returning.”

“With Cameron Carter-Vickers on the team, you can see the difference—everything just gets strengthened.”

“Hopefully, after the break, those high-quality options will be even more available to us.”
