The Milwaukee Bucks are not yet required to consider the offseason. If things don’t work out for them, though, they need to consider how to increase their chances of winning the crown. Jordan Clarkson, a prolific scorer for the Utah Jazz, is one option if they need bench support.

In a piece published on March 29, Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz detailed the subsequent deal that would send Clarkson to the Bucks.

“Sending Clarkson to the Bucks would be the appropriate decision for the seasoned guard. He might be the sixth player on a squad that hopes to win a championship, along with Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

“Next season, Clarkson’s salary will drop to $14.1 million, making him much more tradeable.”

As previously mentioned, Swartz begins a two-year, $28 million extension when his four-year, $52 million contract expires.

Clarkson is also a former Sixth Man of the Year, having won the award in 2021.  he averaged 17.1 points per game and a career-high five assists per game, showing growth in his playmaking.

Jordan Clarkson Named as Most Likely to Enter the Market Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report listed Clarkson as one of the players he thinks has the best chance of finding a new team.

In a piece published on March 20, Bailey stated, “The Jazz have him under contract for two more seasons, but if the aim is to eventually reach championship contention, it’s virtually impossible to picture that happening before his deal expires.”

Bailey then gave a sneak peek at what the Jazz might receive in exchange for Clarkson. His argument lends credence to the idea that the Bucks ought to pursue him.

Although Clarkson won’t fetch a huge price, win-now clubs hoping to improve the output of their bench and backcourt should be vying for him because of his secondary playmaking and scoring ability. This summer, if Utah relocated him,

Right now, the Bucks have no more first-round selections available. The Bucks would be out of luck if the Jazz put the price at one first-round pick at the absolute least.

Despite his injury, Patrick Beverley will play.
Beverley stated on his podcast’s X account that he will play through his wrist injury despite having one.
