Adam Idah urges Irish kids to ignore social media abuse - SundayWorld.comAdam Idah was instructed to seize the chance to work for Celtic under “dream coach” Brendan Rodgers, Idah’s old boss believes the loan transfer could help him step up his game.

It has been predicted that Adam Idah will use his time at Celtic to not only elevate his game but also lead them to victory.

The striker’s January loan move from Norwich to the Hoops was met with a great deal of skepticism, primarily due to his lackluster performance at the English Championship team and his unimpressive prior record. However, in his seven Premiership games, he has scored five goals, showing that he is a valuable alternative to Kyogo.

When Kyogo was having form issues, the frontman for the Republic of Ireland, who has a stronger physical presence, has occasionally played alongside the little Japanese striker as well as in place of him. Idah’s previous international manager Stephen Kenny believes that his skill set, speed, strength, and physicality could be extremely important in the championship run-in.

“I think it is a fantastic opportunity for him, he told Celtic Way.”He has immediately taken to it, and seeing from the outside, I have no doubt that he is having fun during his time in Glasgow.

“Adam moves quickly. He moves really quickly. He is incredibly skilled technically and exudes a genuine physical presence. He has the ability to run the channels and press hard. He has the potential to be the attack’s main man. He has every quality you could want in a striker in the present day.

“I think Brendan Rodgers is an ideal coach for a player like Adam at this time as he is still learning the game. Brendan will help Adam do that and contribute massively to his development. I’m sure Brendan will be working on improving Adam, especially with his movement in the box.

“He has a very good start and scored some good goals and important ones for Celtic already. The bar is set extremely high as a centre-forward for Celtic. Adam has gone in and shown that he can score goals at that level.

“He can only improve the Celtic forward line and make a useful contribution to his own goals. He has demonstrated his ability to play both with and without Kyogo Furuhashi on the team, leading the Celtic attack. Simply said, I believe Adam will gain a lot from this relocation and that living in Glasgow will be excellent for his growth and advancement.

Adam needs to put his attention first and foremost on playing regular first-team football for Celtic and never stop trying to get better under Brendan. He has already contributed much, and perhaps he can do so till the end of the season. Brendan and the Celtic coaching staff are undoubtedly putting in a lot of effort with him.

Idah has already scored crucial late winners against Hibs and Motherwell and that, along with further contributions, could have a big say in the destination of the league trophy.

Kenny added: “It is a very competitive Scottish Premiership this season and it is the tightest race in a while. The title will be won by a minimal amount of points. The league flag will be decided by fine margins and that is why the goals that Adam scores for Celtic will be a major contributory factor come the end of the season.

“The late winners against Hibs at Easter Road and Motherwell at Fir Park may turn out to be critical for Celtic in terms of the title race and as they could be the difference.”
