With the recent signing of a gigantic five-year, $260 million contract that contained $185 million in total guarantees, Lamar Jackson—the two-time NFL MVP and three-time AFC Pro Bowler—became the highest-paid quarterback and player in NFL history.

Jackson was selected in the first round (32nd overall) in 2018 by Baltimore who traded up to land the talented quarterback, which proved to be a massive gamble that has paid off perfectly.

Because of the Ravens’ recent success, the coaching staff and front office will greatly value your ideas and trust. Coach John Harbaugh in particular, who has often batted for Jackson and given Lamar the option to go for it on fourth down, has done so on numerous occasions, and it has proven successful.

The Ravens picked Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers with the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft during the previous season. Lamar Jackson was one of the main reasons Flowers was chosen, and this is what he had to say about the Ravens choosing Flowers.
