Luka Doncic was out on Friday night due to a knee injury so fans of the Golden State Warriors were hoping their team could score an important win.
Instead, they came close but weren’t able to seal the deal and lost 108-106 to the Dallas Mavericks.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expressed his admiration for his team’s work ethic to the media and NBC Sports following the game.
“I love how our guys battled.”incredible work,” Kerr remarked.
“I love these guys,” he said.
Although that was a commendable statement and what one would anticipate a coach to say following a defeat, many supporters took offense at hearing it on the internet.
Almost immediately, Warriors fans on Twitter were saying that the team isn’t doing enough to claim winnable games.
