On April 9, the New York Knicks defeated the Chicago Bulls 128-117 to extend their winning streak to 2-1 on their five-game road trip. The Bulls won the prior game on April 5 by a score of 108-100.
Jalen Brunson of the Knicks finished with 35 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals.

In the opening game, he shot 46.4% from the field and went just 1-for-5 from beyond the arc while committing five turnovers.

In the second-to-last game of the regular season between the two teams, Brunson was unstoppable, scoring 45 points on 54.2% shooting and making seven of his 12 free throw attempts.

In addition, he grabbed three rebounds and disheveled out eight assists.

Bravo to them. Bulls guard Coby White told reporters on April 9 that “they play to their identity, they’re a really good team, and they’re very physical.” “That’s a m***********, Brunson.”

“Mentality does not change. attitude remains the same,” Brunson declared in his farewell statement. But we needed a boost because we knew they had defeated us the last time we were here. That’s exactly how Billy [Donovan] wants them playing; they’re going to play hard the entire game and they won’t give up.

“Those guys over there just play hard all the time, no matter what the record is.” Thus, I have to give them a lot of praise. We therefore understood we needed to play to win, and we did just that.
