According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, a Houston NBC affiliate, former Florida State football running back Trey Benson has visited with several NFL teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Giants, the Buffalo Bills, and most recently the Cleveland Browns, ranking among the top 30.

In his most recent mock draft, NFL.com draft expert Chad Reuter projects Benson will go to the New York Giants with the 70th overall pick.

In this prediction, the former FSU RB would be the fourth running back selected behind Jonathan Brooks (pick 24, Dallas Cowboys), Blake Corum (pick 37, Los Angeles Chargers), and Jaylen Wright (pick 62, Baltimore Ravens).

The FSU RB was officially listed at 6’0”, 216 pounds. He ran a 4.39 40-yard dash and was given a total score of 80 for his 2024 Combine RB rank, first amongst running backs, per NFL.com.

During his career in Tallahassee, Benson had over 2,450 all-purpose yards and 24 touchdowns in two seasons with the Seminoles.
