Later in the year, Andrew plans to take a vacation with his prize money. Pictured a few seasons back, Andrew is an exiled fan who was cheering on the Grecians as they were playing Rochdale away from home.

Now that I’m 79, I reside in Macclesfield. The mid-1950s was when I started watching City. In the early seventies, I relocated to London, then to Tyneside, and then to Manchester. I have so been a City fan and supporter for more than 60 years. I’ve only attended one game at St. James Park since I moved away from Exeter, but I always intended to visit after the stadium was completely renovated. When I did, it was at home against Macclesfield in a 1-0 victory early in the season. The field looked fantastic!

“My favourite players were, Alan Banks and Dermot Curtis. And my favourite matches, the FA cup when we beat Newcastle in the replay, I was living there at the time and went to the first match. Then getting promotion at Wembley against Cambridge and at Sheffield after we were promoted again. I’ve watched city all over the country but not for the past few years, long distance drives are no more.”

The Exeter City Foundation is a great deal, especially for City supporters. Being in the draw makes you eligible for 64 cash prizes throughout the year. Foundation members who purchase a season ticket – providing they have been members for over 6 months – qualify for an additional benefit, either £23 cash back – equivalent to £1 off each home league match – or £30 worth of Exeter City shop vouchers.
