Head coach John Harbaugh has highlighted Lamar Jackson’s impact on the Baltimore Ravens’ draft plan by revealing that the outstanding quarterback may be a key factor in the team’s offensive selections in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Although general managers are usually in charge of selecting players, Jackson will be allocated a portion of that duty. Before the 2018 season, the 27-year-old quarterback seemed close to leaving the team, but he ultimately agreed to a five-year, $260 million deal extension.

Jackson’s renewed deal seemed to fuel his performance, as he clinched the 2023 NFL MVP title, marking the second MVP honor of his career. Despite the Ravens securing the top seed in the AFC, they stumbled in the championship game. However, the team’s management concurs that Jackson’s input on potential rookie recruits is valuable.
