The Pittsburgh Steelers completely redesigned their quarterback room this offseason, dealing Kenny Pickett, letting go of Mitch Trubisky, and allowing Mason Rudolph walk in addition to adding Russell Wilson, Justin Fields, and Kyle Allen.

However, not everyone is extremely optimistic that it will succeed. There are several issues with the Steelers’ new quarterback room, despite the stated improvements. One was brought up by ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky, who said that Pittsburgh could be in problems because their quarterbacks are getting into difficulties when they are sacking opponents.

“Who’s going to take the less ridiculous sacks? In the last two seasons, Russell Wilson has taken 100 sacks. Justin Fields has taken 99,” Orlovsky said on ESPN. “No other quarterback in the NFL has taken more than 80. So who could get that out of there game just a little bit? Justin, I would be more inclined because he’s younger.”
