A new franchise quarterback is desperately needed by the Washington Commanders. The Commanders are in a great position to select the ideal player because they have the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Terry McLaurin will be Washington’s best wide receiver, regardless of the player they ultimately choose. Despite having a significant impact on the Commanders’ attack, McLaurin is aware that the offensive strategy Washington employs will vary depending on the quarterback, according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.
“We’ll get one of them elite guys, so I’m just looking forward to whoever they bring in, helping bring them along,” McLaurin said. “Going into my sixth year I know the lay of the land, and anything I can do to help them become acclimated and part of the team, I’m going to do that.”
