One of South Africa’s best prospects, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, has committed to the Stormers, signing a contract extension with the Cape Town-based team.

After confirming the return of JD Schickerling and twice Rugby World Cup-winning Springboks prop Steven Kitshoff ahead of the upcoming season, it is yet another positive development for John Dobson’s club.Former Junior Springbok captain Feinberg-Mngomezulu has signed a contract extension with the Stormers that runs through 2027.

Talent across generations
The 22-year-old, who made his Stormers debut in the United Rugby Championship quarterfinal in 2022 at the age of just 20, is heavily favoured for a lengthy future in the Springboks uniform after making an impression in his early career.

Director of rugby Dobson stated, “Sacha has been earmarked as a generational talent since he was a schoolboy and it has been great to see him break into the senior ranks in the last few seasons.”

“Now that his future here is confirmed, we are looking forward to seeing him develop further and fulfil the potential that is clear to anyone who has watched him play.

“He has the ability to become a world-class fly-half and we want to equip him with everything he needs to do just that.
