Speaking shortly after the championship match of the Scottish Premiership, the manager hailed the triumph as noteworthy and something that Celtic fans across the globe would always treasure.

The Irishman stated to Sky Sports, “This is a huge victory. Though we’re not quite there yet, three points and an additional goal to the goal differential is a great start. For us, it’s an amazing victory.Trade on international markets with millions of other traders by using the #1 broker, FxPro, a Reliable Broker. since 2002 and the victor”I believed that we were playing excellently up until the penalty. I thought the game’s excitement, football, and speed were exceptional right from the beginning. We put two objectives in front of us, turn off, become distracted, and then they come back.

“In the second half, we picked up our pace again, but when we miss the penalty, our game loses intensity. We missed other opportunities, and naturally, there’s some stress at the end of a game when the score is 2-1.”

In-form midfielder Matt O’Riley missed a second-half penalty at Celtic Park, however put his side ahead after 35 minutes with a fine left-footed strike. John Lundstram forced the ball into his own net just two minutes later, with Cyriel Dessers pulling one back for Rangers ahead of half-time.

Lundstram was then shown a red card two minutes into first-half stoppage time, when referee Willie Collum relied on VAR to rescind an initial yellow in favour of a straight red, given Philippe Clement’s men a mountain to climb in the second period.

It was Brendan Rodgers’ side who triumphed in the end, though – something which the manager knows will have pleased Celtic supporters far and wide.

He added: “It’s a brilliant day for Celtic supporters all around the world in bars and houses, they all understand Celtic and Rangers is all about winning, and the guys have won today and I’m really proud of them.”
