After a dismal season, the Suns fired Vogel and brought in Budenholzer, who has been named NBA Coach of the Year twice (in 2015 and 2019) and helped the Milwaukee Bucks win the 2021 NBA Championship.
After purchasing the Suns, Matt Ishbia, a business tycoon, made a number of significant deals, the most prominent of which were the acquisitions of Bradley Beal in the offseason and Kevin Durant during the previous season.

During the show, ESPN pundit Dave Pasch reported that Mahomes turned to face their booth and suggested Lu Dort could be an NFL player. Mahomes reportedly stated that Dort could play running back or linebacker, according to Pasch.
At 6’3 and 215 pounds (190 cm, 97 kg), Dort has the build of a player for this kind of position. Dort and the average NFL running back weigh about the same, but the average NFL running back is usually shorter, at 5’11 (180 cm) tall.
At roughly 6’3″, linebackers are often just as tall as Dort, but they weigh a lot more—almost 240 pounds (109 kg).
According to AZ Central, Dort played association football (soccer) as a child. Dort did not officially play American football in the records; he eventually switched to basketball.
