Now that the Reds’ spot in the Premier League is all but assured, preparations for the upcoming campaign can begin.

Although the loss to Chelsea over the weekend wasn’t ideal, Forest is now essentially safe because of the losses to Luton and Burnley.

Nuno Espirito Santo will be signed by the club’s recruitment squad, but outgoings will receive more attention.

Prior to the season coming to an end and focus shifting to transfers, an inquiry has now been made about one Forest player.

Augsburg inquires about Forest’s Odysseas Vlachodimos goalie
According to a recent rumor, Augsburg is reportedly hoping to bring in a goalkeeper this summer.

The squad occupying 10th position in the German top division has reportedly inquired about Forest goalkeeper Vlachodimos, according to Augsburger Allgemeine.

On the day of the summer transfer window in 2023, the Greece national team’s top player signed a contract with Forest.

Vlachodimos, who cost Forest £4.2 million, was anticipated to emerge as the team’s top goalkeeper in coming campaign.

That didn’t exactly go as planned, though, as after starting five games for the team, he was benched following a 5-0 thumping at Fulham.

Matz Sels was down to Forest’s third-choice stopper after joining the team in January.

That isn’t helping anyone at 29 years old, and it appears that Vlachodimos’ days on Trentside are numbered.
