In order to help Leeds United defeat Norwich City and go to the play-off final, Liam Cooper has asked the team’s supporters to support the team on Thursday night.
Cooper exhorts Elland Road supporters to cheer Leeds all the way through this important playoff game.
Leeds wants to go up with a big home advantage and enthusiastic support from the supporters.
Leeds faces a history of playoff disappointments, but they intend to move past their setbacks.
The supporters should support the players “from the first to the last minute” when Leeds United hosts Norwich City at Elland Road on Thursday, according to club captain Liam Cooper.

And on Sunday, they played out a fairly boring 0-0 draw at Carrow Road against the Canaries, with neither team providing much of an offensive threat in a cagey match.

Although Leeds’s last third performance raises some concerns, the truth is that they didn’t appear to be troubled too much, and a draw was a reasonable outcome as the defenders prevailed.

All eyes will be on the second leg, and given that the Yorkshire team ended 17 points ahead of David Wagner’s team in the league and will have the support of a sold-out Elland Road for the championship match, they will undoubtedly start as favourites to secure a spot at Wembley. The Whites were knocked out in the first leg of the 2009 League One playoffs after losing 1-0 against Millwall in the first match. Then, even after winning at Pride Park, they famously lost at home to Derby County under Marcelo Bielsa’s leadership.

Undoubtedly, Norwich will be participating in that, and they will be attempting to arouse the crowd’s fears that evening.

However, in response to the away crowd at Carrow Road showing support for the players at full time, Cooper took to social media and asked everyone associated with Leeds to stand united. He called for more of the same on Thursday.
